I know that having a "safe" zone, such as your own home, is a common thing with others who suffer from panic attacks. Hence, the trouble some have leaving their house, etc. I'm curious if anyone has "safe" people. I have been dating a woman that I love very much, and have noticed that I rarely have attacks with her. Have even been able to go into a crowded store with her, and felt none of the usual anxiety I usually feel. Also, I have always preferred to drive myself, and do not like riding with people who drive fast, yet she does, and it doesn't bother me.
So, do others have "safe" people, as well as places?
thanks,
