Hi everyone,

My name is James and I live in the sunny UK.

I recently discovered this forum and also enjoyed reading some of the articles related to ocd symptoms.

I must say that I have suffered with OCD over the years and sometimes it takes me ages to go to bed as I keep checking that my taps in the bathroom are turned off or the gas on my cooker.

I also have issues with driving my car on the motorway since I was almost killed a year ago by a speeding motorist.

I guess that I'm naturally quite an anxious person and sometimes hate being suurounded by crowds of people.

Hopefully I will meet some interesting people here and might be able to discuss issues that we might all have in common.

All the best

James

Hi Aussiemum, Sam and Minxy

Thanks for your warm welcomes and yes it has been really wet and dreary here in the UK. I just heard that the weather could last until the end of July!

I hope that you are both enjoying your summer so far and I'm sure that we will share some interesting chats or discussions over the next few months...looks like this forum could develop into some helpful for people suffering form anxiety etc.

James
