Hello all,

I will be waiting for your replies and active participation on this disussion.

Thank you for your replies.

In our lives, we all want peace and happiness. We hope for a happy and pleasant environment around us all the time. However, to have all this we must be living in an ultimate world. However, we all know that our world is not ideal and tensions, panicky situations and anxieties arise every now and then. However, we should not be afraid of them and whenever these situations arise we must be armed to deal with them in the most efficient manner possible. For this, we must first be able to examine our emotions and accept them as they are. Understanding the emotions can help you to learn to control the emotions without allowing the devastating feelings and emotions take control. As the last step, we must try to transform all such negative emotions like anxiety and panic into encouraging ones.

To throw away all these anxieties and worries one must follow a proper system and diet. In helping you to reduce anxiety and panic situations, the below mentioned points will go a long way.

Regular exercises like an early morning walk, jog, or aerobics.
Try yoga. It helps in getting better your blood flow and reduces hyperventilation.
Whenever a panic situation arises, try to concentrate with deep breathing.
Try meditation as a solution searching method.
Follow a healthy low fat and high vitamin diet.

thanks,

Hi there all again..

Relax those nerves. What is the matter with you? Sometimes we have to ask self-questions and tell self to unwind the nerves to resolve our emotions. We all go through panic attacks, worries, fear, anxiety attacks, and the like at some point in our life. Some of us are likely to panic and anxiety while others is less prone to adapt. What is the matter with you? Some of us be frightened and worry over little things that we have control over, while others worry over larger problems, which still they have control in most instances. Sure, if you were facing ten, fifteen, or twenty years in jail then you have likely cause to worry and most likely will not have recourse. Still, you could petition the sentence.

thanks,

Thanks for the note. I am a strong believer in self-help as you describe. I have also found personally that I was at least initially unable to solve my anxiety problems alone, because I found it impossible to understand what was happening without the perspective of an external point of view. I believe in individual and group therapy because I've seen people find so much help there. There is a broad spectrum that makes up anxiety. A certain level of anxiety is a good thing, and rooted in primal responses to threats that help us take care of ourselves. There are people who have a broken system for dealing with anxiety (anxiety disorders) where the anxiety is exaggerated compared to the threat and sometimes not easily related to the perceived threat. This is what I have. For me the real challenge is to work on understanding the things that trigger anxiety, because that works for me. When I discuss anxiety with other people, their perception is often that people like me have anxiety because they worry too much. It is far from being as simple as that for me.

Hope this is a helpful perspective for you. Thanks for the great original note.

Thanks for the encouragement, Minxy. Iam trying to make myself begin some of these habits and to try to consciously monitor my thoughts and not let them take the reins. That is the hardest part - remembering that the way I feel may not be the "right" way.

Is there anyone else here who has had this condition from early childhood? It seems hopeless to change when it seems so normal...

Take care! No More Spiders!!!!!
